.....WORDS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Mr. Divyesh. M. Patel
( I/C Principal )

It is great pleasure for me to introduce our college as it is in the initial stage and yet already establish as a well-reputed college of Bachelor of Education.

Everyone is aware of the rate of increase in the number of B.Ed colleges in the past few years. In such environment where quality is compromised everywhere, I am glad to say that we are the one who had never compromised with quality as it is the responsibility of training colleges to provide good teacher to the society. The reason of this rapid increase in number of colleges can be found from the simple principle of commerce that as demand increases, production also increases. But society is demanding quality education, quality assurance from the self financed colleges. Within few years the picture will be clear in the educational society regarding the aims and goals of these new institutions. In this way the colleges with no vision in education will be rectified. Here the Darwin’s theory of survival of the fittest, is applicable.

Today society is going under rapid renovation. Renovation in living life, renovation in habits, renovation in values, renovation in culture, renovation in their expectations from a school. Due to these rapid changes, the person has to run to keep himself at the position where he is; otherwise he will be well behind the others. The steady improvement in educational technology and lowering costs of technology has made everyone equipped with new electronic equipments. Today everyone is engaged in giving technical education. But above all of these the fundamental question remains unanswered that why a person wants to become a Teacher? What are the concepts with which a student enters the B.Ed. College? By addressing such concepts and modifying their concepts in such a way that they become mobile in nature so that we do not prepare a statue of person who possess a block of certain knowledge. We train the teacher students to develop certain skills which are necessary to e a teacher in context of Indian society. We cerates environment amongst students to feel them the value and responsibility that comes when they become a Teacher. We do not ignite the flame of candle but we try to ignite the match stick that can ignite many candles.

We are aiming to gain certain image of our college in the areas like Trust, Reliability, Validity, Mobility, Discipline and advancement.

...STUDENT'S FEEDBACK

“I was moderate student during my study days and had never taken part in any of the open competition or never spoken publicly. But after entering this college, I had got enough exposure within first few days of the college that I gained confidence in myself. Activities like prayer, prayer speech, lessons, tutorials etc. boosted me to perform well and to bring out my hidden abilities. I had enjoyed communication and integration with the faculty, friends and moreover the students to whom I had taught. Principal and the faculty was very co-operative and always monitoring us for our improvement. In short I will remember my study days at Anand College Of Education (self finance) through out my life.”

(Bhetaria Nitin, 2005)

“I am very grateful to God since I got the chance for studying in the Anand College of Education (self finance). When I had gone for interview for admission, I had decided that I will only prefer ACE, not because that many past students had recommended me but it was the only best option. Initially my perception towards B.Ed. was similar to any ordinary student who thinks the B.Ed. College as the other colleges of science, arts and commerce. There was everything that a training college should have a good leadership of enthusiastic principal Dr. Rinaben Vora, a required skilled faculty, good infrastructure, good reputation, personal attention to everyone, required motivation at each stage. I had developed myself in ACE more than I had developed myself during my graduation and post-graduation.”

(Zala Raviraj, 2005)

MESSAGES FROM THE PAST STUDENTS

Hello Madam, I am Agraval Ritesh, your student from the batch of 2004-2005, remembered me? Recently I am giving my service at Bavis Gam Vidyalaya as a Assistant Teacher in higher secondary school. Being a student of 2005, when I see the B.Ed. students coming for giving their lessons, I am remembering my initial days when we were given training to come out from our self. I was very lucky that I got admission in ACE, our college. Today when I got appreciation from my students, I feel that it is thing for which each teacher is working. I had no hesitation to give whole credit to you.

Presently where I am working is fully equipped with latest technological teaching aids and when I use them successfully, I remember the training I got in your institution. The atmosphere, the warmth, friendly faculty members towards students is really unforgettable and finally ACE (Anand College Of Education) is definitely the best time I spent so far in my life. After studying in ACE, I think what a college can give a student in one year. In context to training in ACE, I think I had always strive to gain best.

Congratulations to you again madam. It’s all about your great effort our dream come true. Also I remember all staff members with warm regards. My best wishes are always with junior as they are fortunate for studying in ACE.
