Late Shree Gordhanbhai Vakil was
a visionary and an able administrator.
Under his stuart leadership so many new faculties
& courses emerged. He founded Shri Ram Krisna
Seva Mandal trust in 1954.
Anand Homoeopathic college was established in 1980.
Initially Diploma course D.H.M.S. was affiliated with
Homoeopathic council of Gujarat state.
Our college is affiliated to Sardar Patel University,
Vallabh Vidya Nagar from 1985 for the Graded Degree
course. We are the pioneers to establish this course
in Gujarat State.
The direct degree course started in 1986. The duration
of the course is of 5 ½ years including 1 year internship training. Our college is first to start B.H.M.S degree
course in Gujarat State. The College of has capacity of 100 intake.
Our college is a grant- in-aid college and our internees are drawing a Stipend according to the rules and regulation
to The Government of Gujarat.
During last 32 years this college is involved in constructive and social activities like Medical camps, School Health check up programme , The programme of Happy mother & Healthy child, Medical check-up of malnourished children, Thalessaemia camps, Aids awareness camp with Red ribbon club. The students are actively participating in seminars arranged on different subjects and extracurricular activity.

Our college has a well-equipped Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacy, FM, PSM laboratories with plenty of specimens in each laboratory. We have well developed department viz. Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine and Hom. philosophy, Repertory & Medicine having latest Soft ware, charts and instruments.
The library contains almost 6000 number of books with latest editions of Homoeopathic and allied subjects. Library contain National and international Journals of Homoeopathy and allied subjects.
We have 25-bedded Hospital with 10 rural OPDS. Hospital is well equipped to attend the emergencies 24 hours. Our Hospital has advance department of Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Surgery and highly equipped pathological laboratory. We have visiting faculties like Ophthalmology, ENT, Paediatrics, Psychiatrics, Dentistry, Skin and VD. We also run the Vaccination centre providing the facility free of cost.

No candidate shall be admitted to B.H.M.S. course unless he has passed the Higher secondary Board exams with physics chemistry & Biology as his subjects.

Admission is purely on the basis of merit and conducted by Admission committee of Govt. of Gujarat. |

Attend
the age of 17years on or before 31s' December
of the year of his admission to the first year
of the B.H.M.S course. |
| |
Blind [including colour blind, deaf and/or dumb]
candidates shall not be allowed for admition in
this course. |

Admission
committee of Govt. of Gujarat Centralizes the
admission on merit basis. |

The college has grant in- Aid status. The present fee structure is 12,500 /- per Term. |
